Autologous Fat Transfers are another possible acne scar removal procedure. This process includes
removing fat tissue from other parts of your body and using it in the acne scarred areas. This method does not totally remove acne scars, but it fills their depression, making them less visible to the eye. This process of acne scar removal also needs to be repeated on a regular basis, as your body will slowly absorb the fat over time.

Laser Skin Resurfacing is one of the newest and most effective acne scar removal treatments available today. This process involves using a laser to gently vaporize the scarred area until the new unscarred skin below is visible. This process can be more painful than some of the other methods, which is why anesthesia is generally used for smaller scarred areas, while the person is usually fully sedated for larger scarred areas.
