Cellulite Reduction – Innovative Solutions

The term cellulite is said to have originated in France more than 150 years ago. In more recent times, VOGUE Magazine in a 1970’s issue dubbed this unsightly fat cellulite. Descriptive names for cellulite have since evolved to include, orange peel syndrome, cottage cheese skin, and dimples, to name a few.

According to the dictionary cellulite is a popular term for fat that is difficult to remove by dieting and that often has a dimpled appearance. What causes it? Despite its frequency, there is no uniform understanding of cellulite. Eating a healthy, well balanced diet that is low in fat, drinking plenty of water and getting exercise on a regular basis may help in the reduction of cellulite and minimize the dimpling effect. As regular exercise and eating well are good for overall health and wellness by preventing the build up of fat and so less likely to form fat deposits or cellulite.
